There is nothing I love more than finding makeup products that 1. I am absolutely in love with, and 2. that are affordable! I have to talk about my favorite eyeshadow palette that I purchased in 2017 because I would be doing you a disservice if I didn’t share it with you. First of all, I am obsessed with Jaclyn Hill. She is the first YouTuber I discovered and I have learned almost everything I know about doing makeup from her super informative videos. When I found out she was collaborating with Morphe on an eyeshadow palette, you better believe I was jumping up and down with excitement! I have been using Morphe brushes for years (again, thanks to Jaclyn’s recommendations), and they have incredible products at the lowest prices. I do not know how it is possible, but they exceed my expectations constantly! The Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette is by far my favorite product that Morphe has ever released. There are so many things I love about this palette, but I will highlight my favorite things about it below.

• The palette is $38 and has 35 different eyeshadow colors in it- can’t beat that price!!!
• Every color is extremely pigmented (see swatches on my arm above)
• There is very little fall out with these shadows
• There are mattes, shimmers, foils, and satins in this palette
• They are super easy to blend out

I highly recommend this palette to anyone who is in the market for some new eyeshadows. I use this palette on my eyes every day and I love that I can create looks for day and night since the shade range is so versatile. It’s the perfect palette to travel with because it has every shade you could possibly want.

While I love this palette so much, I do have two cons that I want to share with you. The first con is the packaging. While the white palette is beautiful, it gets really dirty. I keep my palette in a separate drawer from my other makeup because I want to keep it as clean as possible, but I have already gotten several stains/marks on it from other makeup transferring on the palette. While that’s not a deal breaker, it is something I want to share with you. The other con I want to share is that I wish there were a few more cool toned shades included in the palette. I have fair skin with pink undertones, and cool toned shadows compliment my skin better than warm tones. I understand that this palette is very warm tone focused because Jaclyn Hill is all about the warm colors, but I would’ve loved to see a couple more matte shades that were cool toned. Besides those two cons, I love this palette and would truly recommend it to everyone.

You will be sure to find some shades in this palette that you will absolutely fall in love with! There is one shimmer shade in the palette (it’s called Obsessed) that I wear every single day and I wish they would make it into a single eyeshadow. If Morphe ever does this (HINT HINT), I would stock up on 50 singles of that specific shadow- that’s how much I love it!! Overall, this palette gets a 5-star rating from me! I look forward to trying out new shadow combos and creating new eye looks this year.
