Valentine’s Day is next week so I wanted to share some outfit inspiration with you today! I am not the type of girl to wear a pink or red dress on Valentine’s Day. I like to stay true to my personal style (a.k.a wearing neutrals) but I also like to add a couple of fun elements to my outfit to make it appropriate for Valentine’s Day. I prefer to stay on the casual side for V-Day, and I know many of you like to keep it casual too (thanks for participating in my Insta story poll!), so that is why I styled a Valentine’s Day look with jeans this year.

Jeans are so comfortable and they can easily be dressed up or down depending on what your plans are! I am going out for dinner with my hubby, so I think jeans are appropriate but I wanted to dress it up a bit because I will take any excuse to get a little dressed up đŸ™‚ The lace top, fur coat, and OTK boots transformed my casual look into a dressier one. I wanted to subtly add a little pink and red into my outfit, so I switched out my black bag with this cute little pink one. I love the gold chain on the bag because it compliments my gold earrings nicely.

I am normally a neutral colored lip lover, but I thought I would try a bold red lip for V-Day! I absolutely fell in love with this lip product. It is the new Laura Mercier Velour Extreme Matte Lipstick in the color Dominate. This shade of red has blue undertones which is important because blue based reds make your teeth look extra white. The lipstick is in a crayon form so it is super easy to apply and the color lasts for hours. I would recommend bringing it out with you on Valentine’s Day so you can touch up the color if you need to.

I would love to know what your Valentine’s plans are and what you will be wearing! Just remember to stay true to your personal style- you will feel much more comfortable and confident that way! Find ways to add fun little Valentine’s touches to your look. If you have any questions about Valentine’s Day outfits, please reach out and let me know!

Thanks for stopping by!
