Dress: Adelyn Rae | Heels: Steve Madden | Clutch: Jessica Simpson (old), Similar | Earrings: Kendra Scott (old), Similar | Watch: Michele | Bracelets: Hermes, David Yurman

We are right in the middle of wedding season, so I wanted to share one of my favorite outfits that would be perfect for a spring or summer wedding! I’m wearing a blue Adelyn Rae dress that has the most darling detailing throughout the dress, Steve Madden lace up heels, an embroidered clutch, and Kendra Scott earrings.

I love mixing prints and colors together! Although my clutch doesn’t match my dress perfectly, my nude heels go with the nude clutch, and the pink and gold earrings tie in with the clutch. You don’t always have to be matchy matchy! As long as you have a general color scheme going on with your outfit, you will look great!

Helpful hint: When choosing a dress to wear to a wedding, make sure you don’t choose the same colored dress as the bridesmaids dresses. You don’t want someone to confuse you with the bridal party if you aren’t in it 🙂 If you are not sure what color the bridesmaids dresses are, take a look at the wedding invitation to see if it gives you any clues on what the wedding colors are going to be.

Are you going to any weddings this summer? Let me know what you’ll be wearing in the comments below!

I hope you all have a wonderful week!

I love the color of this dress! I always have trouble figuring out what to wear for weddings so this was so helpful!

I’m going to a wedding in Arkansas in a couple of weeks, and I still haven’t decided what to wear (thinking about the pink Cynthia Rowley dress just hanging out in my closet), but I LOVE that electric blue. I also love the idea of a bright pop of color to be festive and stand out from the wedding party — I may just have to snag myself something like it!

Hey Katie! The best part of this dress (minus the color!!) is the price! It’s under $100 which is amazing because the dress is so well made and it’s beautiful! I’m sure the pink dress you have will be perfect for the wedding! Have you thought about what shoes and accessories you will be wearing with it? You could always add a fun pop of color with a necklace or a clutch! Have an amazing time at the wedding! xo, Kimmie
