The first few days of the Anniversary Sale have been incredible! The sale went live on the 13th at 2 am Central time, and you better believe I stayed up until then so I could see the merchandise as soon as it was posted!
That morning (from 2-4:30 am!!!!) I made a ‘Must Haves’ list for the sale that you can check out here! I have received such positive feedback about my sale guide, and I am so happy that many of you have found sale items that you love!!
As you have probably already noticed, things sell out SO fast when it comes to this sale, so make sure you order quickly. I had a graphic tee sell out when it was sitting in my shopping cart 🙁 I am hoping it will come back in stock soon, but I have learned my lesson since then!
I wanted to share a haul of the items I bought in the store on Thursday. I ordered several other things online, and I will be sure to share those on here once they arrive! Until then, I am sharing the clothing and beauty items that I bought on the first day of the sale. I will include my honest opinion about each item, give you sizing info and let you know what other colors the clothes come in.
Try On Haul
This V-neck tee is only $15.90 and is SO cute! It has a little pocket as well as a raw hem. I am wearing a size Medium- I prefer a more oversized tee. This color is a very light lavender and is currently sold out, but there are 5 other colors fully stocked (for now)! The jeans I am wearing in all of these photos are the AG jeans that are on sale for $149.90. They have a raw hem which looks so cute with low booties, and they tuck into taller boots super easily! I find that AG jeans run on the smaller side, so I sized up one size in these.
This striped long sleeved tee is $18.90 and it is the softest shirt ever. I absolutely love simple tees like this because they make great layering pieces. You can wear this tee under an army, bomber or leather jacket, and it would also look great paired with a vest. I will be wearing this on repeat during the fall and winter! If you like a looser fitting tee, order your true size, but if you like a tighter fitting tee I would size down. This comes in 4 solid colors and 2 striped colors.
Okay, you can probably tell by now that I got a lot of neutral basics at the sale! I love finding basic closet staples that I can wear many different ways and easily dress them up or down. This waffle tee is the softest and comfiest shirt ever. It fits true to size and comes in 4 colors- this color is called Oatmeal. I have my eye on the Soft Rock color!
Sorry about the backwards lettering! I’m sure you have figured out that it says ‘Love and Coffee’…my 2 favorite things ever, hence why I needed this!! This is a sweatshirt and the inside is sooo fuzzy and cozy. I bought this in a Medium, but I was actually surprised that the arm length was a little short on me (I have really long arms). If you have longer arms, I would go up a size in this. I am also wearing Zella leggings that have the cutest detailing and mesh panels on them. They are high waisted and are the perfect legging for the workout class I do! They’re also great for lounging around the house or running errands.
This blush Free People sweater is one of my favorite purchases! I love chunky knit sweaters for the fall & winter and this is going to get a lot of wear! It comes in 3 colors and fits true to size.
This outfit is my fave!! I am going to shoot actual photos with my photographer in this outfit so you can see it better. This black silk and lace cami is PERFECT for layering under sweaters. You can also layer it under a plaid shirt or a leather jacket to add a feminine touch to an edgier look. I also adore this long ribbed cardigan- it runs really big so definitely order down a size or 2. I am wearing an XS!
Another very similar sweater to the one pictured above…I just can’t get enough of long open cardigans! AND this one has pockets 🙂 This is a BP sweater and it’s on sale for $31.90. This sweater comes in 3 colors.
I also bought 3 sale items from the cosmetic department. I got the Clinique Thirst Quenchers set which comes with 2 full sized face moisturizers for $99. They are amazing for dry skin- I have tried the moisturizer at night and in the morning and so far I love it! It wears really well under makeup and is great for anyone with dehydrated skin. I also picked up a 2 pack of the Anastasia Beverly Hills clear brow gel. I use it every single day so it was an amazing deal to get 2 full tubes for $29. Lastly, I bought the Stila Stay All Day Liner & Lipstick duo. It comes with a full sized liquid liner and a liquid lipstick. The regular full sized & full priced liquid liner costs $22, and this set of liner plus lipstick costs $20!!! I love finding amazing deals on products that I use on a daily basis!
If you have questions or comments about any of the items I bought, make sure to leave me a comment and I will get back to you! Check out my Instastories for videos taken during my try on haul. I would love to hear what items you have purchased from the sale, and please let me know if I missed out on any must haves!!
