I had the opportunity to host a Mother’s Day event with 3 other fashion bloggers at Kendra Scott over the weekend! We all brought our moms to the store with us and got to shop around and find the perfect gifts for Mother’s Day. I have compiled a list of gifts from Kendra Scott that your mom or mother figure will absolutely love for Mother’s Day. Happy shopping!

PS- Did you know that you receive 50% off an item of your choice from Kendra Scott during your birthday month?! Make sure you visit your local KS store to treat yourself for your birthday!

Happy Friday! I wanted to share one of my favorite casual outfits to wear on the weekend when I’m running around town on errands and such. This is the perfect thing to wear in the spring months when the weather is slightly unpredictable and can start out chilly and warm up later.

This hat was a birthday gift from my bestie and I have gotten SO much use out of it! It’s the perfect accessory to throw on if you don’t have the time to do your hair or if it’s been a few days since washing it (guilty). I literally can’t stop wearing these Blank NYC jeans! They are so comfy and they look cute with everything. I’m going to get myself a second pair since I wear them so often! I’ve been loving cold shoulder tops lately, and Nordstrom currently has an amazing collection of them. The cutout shoulders add a fun element to your outfit while keeping you cool when the weather gets warmer. I paired this outfit with some Sam Edelman caged sandals, but you could always wear ballet flats or espadrilles with this look!

What are you doing this weekend? Let me know if you have any fun plans! I have lots of last minute wedding errands to run! 22 days until the big day…YAY!

If you are in the St. Louis area, you should stop by the Kendra Scott store at Plaza Frontenac this Sunday from 1-3 pm!! I am hosting an event at the store with a few other local bloggers! Everyone that stops by will receive 15% off an item of their choice. I would love to see you there!

It’s no surprise that I’m obsessed with 70s trends right now! Luckily for me, Nordstrom is feeding my addiction by selling the cutest 70s inspired clothing. I seriously can’t get enough fringe, bell sleeves, and flared jeans in my wardrobe!

This LBD is perfect for spring because it is light and airy but the long sleeves are perfect for cooler nights. The blush and white flowers give the dress a nice feminine touch while the bell sleeves and lace trim make it trendy and fun.

These fringe booties are an absolute must have in my opinion. They look great with dresses, skirts, white jeans, distressed jeans, black jeans…I could go on and on! I clearly have a thing for fringe hence the fringe boots AND bag. I think I was born in the wrong era…

Denim on denim is VERY on trend right now [when worn correctly!!]. This look may be a very scary thing for some people to wear and I can understand why! No one, and I repeat, NO ONE wants to be compared to Justin and Britney at the 2001 VMA awards.

I want you all to feel like you can wear a denim on denim outfit and feel good about it! This post will teach you how to achieve the double denim look with three simple tips.

Tip 1 // Wear different shades of blue

When putting together a denim on denim outfit, it is so important that your jeans are darker than your shirt. Things start looking a little Britney & JT when your shirt is the same color as your pants. Having a contrast in color is the KEY to mastering this look!

Tip 2 // Add a pop of color

In order to break things up a little bit, it’s nice to add a pop of color with an accessory. With the look I’m wearing, I added a burgundy purse to break up all of the blue. Any colored purse or clutch would look great with this outfit.

Tip 3 // Exude confidence

When trying any new fashion trend out for the first time, it’s important to be confident! If you feel unsure about what you are wearing or if you aren’t feeling good about yourself, it will come across to the people who surround you. Own the look you are wearing, feel confident about it, and have fun with it!

I have been on the hunt for dresses to bring with me on my honeymoon to St. Thomas next month and I found the perfect one from Show Me Your Mumu! I am in love with the tones of blue in the dress, and the pattern is so unique and intricate. Lately I’ve had an obsession with bell sleeves and I was sold on the dress when I saw the sleeves. Any dress that is cinched at the waist and has a flowy skirt is sure to be flattering on any body type!

When I’m shopping, I only invest in clothing if I can picture myself wearing it many times, to several different events. Although I had my honeymoon in mind when I bought this dress, I knew it would also be perfect for a blogging event I have coming up, for a bridal shower, and for date nights with my soon to be hubby. I love that you can dress this outfit up or down by changing out the shoes and the bag. When I wear this in St. Thomas, I will wear lace up sandals and a floppy hat, and when I wear it to a bridal shower I will throw on nude heels and pair it with a clutch. Play around with different shoes and accessories to create new looks with the same dress!
